One of the strongest examples of long term cooperation within HANA STAR HOLDINGS is our 30 year partnership with a South African distributor. This relationship began in the mid 1990s when Korean models were emerging in the region, and has grown into a highly stable supply chain that supports multiple product categories across Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo and SsangYong.
Instead of treating trade as a single transaction, both sides invested in long term clarity. We focused on supplying accurate parts, consistent pricing structures, and predictable shipping cycles. The distributor focused on honest forecasting and responsible stock rotation. Over time, this combined behaviour created a predictable rhythm: they purchased based on rotation data, and we supplied based on reliability and accuracy, not aggressive discount spikes.
Because of this relational trust, SKU expansion became natural. The early years focused mainly on fast moving service items. Today, the partnership includes suspension, electrical, engine components, and extended model support for both legacy and modern platforms.
